Danshui Street Performer - The Musical Bean Stock

I saw this somewhat strange street performer while exploring Danshui. I have no idea what he's supposed to be. A musical bean stock?

Not everyone looked amused.
 Though, at least I wasn't the only photographer who thought it was interesting.

Opened in 1987, and cost seven billion Taiwan Dollars(233.2 million USD) to build.

National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall 中正紀念堂

Created of mainly concrete and marble; the monument took 4 years to build and was completed in 1980.
